Taken from current circumstances involving housing foreclosures, a good, quick story. MC never disappoints.

What made the experience of listening to The Fifth Witness the most enjoyable?

FIGURING OUT HOW OUR HERO MICHAEL HALLER WOULD PROVE THE INOCENSE OF HIS CLIENT AND WHAT THE LAST SAY WOULD BE AFTER HE GETS HER OFF. DID SHE DO IT OR NOT?

Who was your favorite character and why?

CISCO IS ALWAYS ENTERTAINING

The Fifth Witness

I like mysteries that give all the clues then bring the final ending together picking up the clues left along the way. I honestly didn't see the conclusion coming. None of the characters did predictible things to make the book more exciting, it was fun. The courtroom was a bit slow at times. But I highly recommend this one.

A Great Continuiation of the Series

I thought the last book was the best in the series but this one again takes the cake. I don't want to spoil too much but it was great to see Mickey start to sell his soul again to the defense....just to turn around and gain more back than he ever sold. Absolutely fantastic book with a perfect ending that hopefully sets up the rest of the series.

Excellent writer

Michael Connelly is one of the best. I listen to all of his series. This book keeps one on its toes with all the changes and twists

I was riveted.. I am already a fan of Michael Connelly's, but this
far exceeded all others. Court room dramas and my favorite genre
and this is by far the best I've been entertained by in a long time!

another great addition to the Micky series.

I loved the new direction with regards to the economic struggles and the new client in this book was excellent. great book!

Terrific as usual. A little more depth to Mickey.

The characters really came across in this one. I kept seeing two bodies here not one so was relieved.
