Publisher's summary

If you could go back in time...and witness any event...where would you go?

When Dr. Tom Greenbaum faces that question after successfully discovering the secret to time travel, he knows the time, place, and event he will witness: the death and failed resurrection of Jesus Christ. Dr. David Goodman, Tom's colleague and closest friend follows Tom into the past, attempting to avert a time-space catastrophe, but forces beyond their control toss them into a dangerous end game where they are tempted by evil characters, betrayed by friends, pursued by an assassin from the future, and haunted by a demon that cannot be killed.

About the author: Jeremy Robinson is the author of 11 novels including Pulse, Instinct, and Threshold, the first three books in his exciting Jack Sigler thriller series. His novels have been translated into nine languages. He is the director of New Hampshire AuthorFest, a non-profit organization promoting literacy in New Hampshire, where he lives with his wife and three children.

Critic reviews

"What surprised me, with [Robinson's] take on the possibility of two 21st century men meeting Jesus, was the utter lack of predictability.... He offers a new perspective on ripping apart the time-space continuum I am shocked no one has ever considered before now." ( Round Table Reviews)
"[A] thrilling and fast-paced 'what if?' scenario." ( MidWest Book Review)
"[A] rollicking adventure.... The story opens explosively and is laced with suspense and humor. Robinson writes quite well and is an up-and-coming author to watch...we'll hear, read, and see a great deal more from him in the future." ( Christian Book Previews)

Biblical subject matter.

BUT A TOTAL SCIFI! I love stories about real history and the lives of those who live it. also love me some good old sci-fi time travel stuff. so, yeah... I loved this one!

And as long as you're not so biased against religion or head over heels in love with it, you'll prolly love it too.

And this story really drives home the saying about atheism being the most faithful of all religions. it is told by a man who truly believes in Christ being Lord.

There is horrid violence. you won't vomit, but it is in there.

Time travel is the second least believable part of this story

This is a well executed time travel story. The supernatural and religious elements are the parts I could have done without.

Yea most any book I find that he's telling I download .

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I actually did believe it or not and I have re listened to it 3 more times science and every time I find something's new I missed and this is one book that had me crying every read.

I was skeptical, but it didn't disappoint.

From start to finish, Jeremy grabs your mind while RC takes your ears on a fantastic journey, weaving factual ancient history into science fiction. What if... you could go back in time? Where would you go??? Like the main Characters, one of the first places I would go, would be to visit Christ. I'd try to stay in the shadows and the background. With some of the most creative writing I've experienced, Jeremy takes it one step further, what if you accidentally end up being called as one of Jesus' apostles? Someone from modern times being written into ancient history. This tapestry of words was beautifully written to appreciate as you might some of the most fantastic artwork ever viewed. It's that good.

I found myself referencing the new testament to check if things really went down the way they had in this book. He did his homework and put this together with amazing detail. If words could be paint and this story was the canvas, This is a painting I'd hang in my home. All the while, it's packed with action and intrigue, I finished this book faster than any I've listened to before. I just couldn't stop listening.

This is a story told from a unique perspective.

This is not an apologetic story. This is not an attempt to convert people to Christianity. As a Christian, I enjoyed this book. What this book is, is an age-old tale retold through a very unique set of eyes. This idea is brilliant. I don't care what religious preference you have or if you have none, this is a well-told story with a happy ending. Not everyone will like this but I highly recommend it. As a Christian, I have recommended it to several friends already. It raises some wonderful questions that we each need to examine in ourselves. What a good book. I'm buying this in hard copy to put on my shelf in hopes that one day I'll have grandchildren who read it.

Epic time travel story!

This is an awesome twist on the time travel genre. It's a science fiction story that includes adventure, science, and alternative history and more. It's main premise involves time travel back to the days of the new testament with the twists and turns I've come to expect from Jeremy Robinson. It does have a Christian view to it overall, which I enjoyed. Having said that, I still believe this book could be enjoyed by both Christians and non-Christian alike. This book has stories within stories, likable characters, suspense, and awesome twists that keep you wanting more. RC Bray's narration is, as usual, fantastic. High recommended!
