The Scarlet Society is a secret club of 12 powerful and sexually adventurous women. But when a photograph of the body of one of the men they're recruited to dominate - strapped to a gurney, the number 1 inked on the sole of his foot - is sent to the New York Times, they are shocked and frightened.
Unable to cope with the tragedy, the women turn to Dr. Morgan Snow. But what starts out as grief counseling quickly becomes a murder investigation, with any one of the 12 women a potential suspect.
The case leads Detective Noah Jordan - a man with whom Morgan has shared a brief, intense connection - to her office. He fears the number on the man's foot hints that the killings have just begun. With her hands tied by her professional duty, Morgan is dangerously close to the demons in her own mind - and the flesh-and-blood killer. (A multicast production.)

I really enjoyed this story and characters, especially the two main characters, just as good and the first book which was great. I would recommend this series to everyone.
Make it half as long.
No, just from this author.
Disappointment. Kept waiting for it to get better but it just kept getting worse.
This was the first Audible book I have listened to. I found it to be really good I listened to it in less then a day.
My favorite character was Morgan Snow, at times I got frustrated with her about how she handled some things, like with the detective and with Nina but all and all she was an interesting character with good morals, loves her daughter and what she does for a living.
Noah and Morgan were my favorite
With Lotsa Love from gaz regn
I really wanted to like this book more, but it just kept falling a little flat. The premise was great--an upper-class female-dominant sex club in Manhattan whose subserviant male members keep turning up dead--but there was no real umph to the book. Shame, really.
