It took me a little while to get into this book. In the end I found it to be typical Connelly which is a very good listen. Dick Hill did a nice job as he did in first 2 books of series. Looking forward to next installment in the Bosch series.

great new character; needs better voice
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I loved the new female character, and look forward to more books about her. However, unless the series gets a new narrator, I'll just read it.

Yes, I have loved all the Bosch series that I have read or heard!

Connelly's future is written in the stars
This is the first of the HB series where Connelly begins easing up on the clichés begins branching out into other areas. The talent for writing gripping courtroom drama that is so evident in Connelly's Lincoln Lawyer series makes it's debut here, and it ends up outshining the rest of an already best-yet story.
