Tom Clancy at his best

What did you love best about The Cardinal of the Kremlin?

The depth of the story evolving how the spy game works in it's most deepest reaches of your enemy.

What other book might you compare The Cardinal of the Kremlin to and why?

Of course there are many books on spying and Tom Clancy is a master at telling a story. I would highly recommend all of Tom Clancy's books. Cardinal of the Kremlin introduced us to some great Clancy Characters as well as some of the Greatest Clancy characters that have since gone.

What about Michael Prichard’s performance did you like?

Wonderful Performance has you on the edge of your sit just like if you were reading it. Michael's one of my favorite Performers.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Like all Tom Clancy Books there are many things that will move you and parts that will have you on the edge of your sit. I think if I had to pick a part in this one it would be the decision when the US gave the green light to save the Cardinal.

Any additional comments?

Tom Clancy always leaves you wanting more, I love how he can take us on such a journey full of drama, action, adventure. Michael's Performance does the same. You can never go wrong with a Tom Clancy Book

Great story, slow in the beginning but picks up speed.

I’m listening to all of the books in order. This has the feel of Red Rabbit. The scientific stuff in the beginning had me loosing focus a bit but the action sprinkled in kept me hooked.

The volume goes up and down throughout the recording but not too bad.

Legend.

Tom Clancy is a legend and this story is epic. Gone way too soon. RIP Legend. No one has been able to right optical thrillers on this level ever since.

a little slow but a good story over all

Gripping

For one of Tom Clancy's early works the character development and the tension built through the book will keep you on edge and wanting to listen to one more chapter, always one more.

It's really a good way to enjoy the novel, especially for espionage novel fans or fans of the Cold War era fiction.

The only way this could be better enjoyed is with bourbon and a cigar.
