"Wish I could give it 10 Stars!!!"

Fantastic listen: Entertaining, Exciting and Captivating. Better than 'Bourne Identity' (didn't think that was possible}. Can't say enough. Don't expect to hear what you saw on the screen (two different stories - both unbelievable). If I sound like a Bourne enthusiast, you're right. Wish that Ludlum were still alive and writing.

"Where did the Movie come from????"
If you could sum up The Bourne Supremacy in three words, what would they be?

    Different but Astounding

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

I loved the book but Marie drove me up the wall. I know why the movies killed her.

"Great Read! Better than the Movie!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely, I would love to see the actual Ludlum storyline used in a remake of these movies! Completely shocked me to see the extreme difference between the movie and this story!

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Have listened to all of the first three bourne books and he does a great job!

    Any additional comments?

If you are on the edge of listening or reading, listen! Nothing compares!

"Lost interest about half way through"

The Bourne Identity held my interest pretty tightly throughout because of the personal urgency I felt about Bourne. I wanted him to succeed, and with each wave of adversity, I was rooting for him.

In Supremacy, it started out the same way but then Ludlum tries to paint with a larger brush of international intrigue, and suddenly, or rather, bit by bit, I began to care less. It's as if Bourne steps a bit into the background, giving way to a host of less interesting characters.

I still recommend the first one and I won't go for the third one. I'll watch the movies a fifth time instead.

    "still no CIA coverup"

Robert Ludlum has done a great job showing of the dangers of the CIA doing something so dangerous that miss information and manipulations of David Webb will lead to a mess.

when someone is pretending to be Jason bourne the real jason is tricked into hunting the old jason down. bring him in and find things out. but when the CIA is to scared to ask David for his help they kidnap his wife. bad move. so now David has to go to China and hunt down a man trained to kill just like bourne would pretend to kill.

but the CIA have things go wrong very fast and so disaster strikes all over.

I love espionage, legal, and detective thrillers but listen to most genres. Very frequent reviews. No plot spoilers! Please excuse my typos!

"The second novel in the Jason Bourne series"

The Bourne Supremacy, released in 1986, is one of 13 novel is the Jason Bourne series, but only the first 3 were written entirely by Ludlum himself. Indeed, most were written and released under the Robert Ludlum brand by Eric Van Lustbader well after Ludlum's 2001 death. The earlier novels written by Ludlum himself are much better than those written by Van Lustbader after Ludlum's death.

The Bourne Supremacy is a true American spy classic. This novel finds Jason Bourne fighting an imposter taking on his identity and murdering people. The 2004 movie of The Bourne Supremacy staring Matt Damon is superb. Scott Brick narrates this 2009 audio novel.
