Well narrated

This is a good story well narrated. The story keeps you interested and there are a few surprises.

Too many twists

I almost gave this 4 stars, because I did enjoy the story and the characters were, for the most part, well-developed. I did feel that Deaver wasn't happy with simply writing a tense thriller about women fleeing from remorseless killers. Instead, he had to add one twist and then another, until I was sure the heroine would turn out to be a man!
Additionally, a disappointing aspect of this audio book for me was the nasal quality of the narrator's voice. I found it really distracting, particularly when he switched from a male to a female character. It made me feel I would have enjoyed reading this book more than listening to it.
With those caveats, a good page-turner. I certainly won't open a door to a stranger if I'm in an isolated cabin in the woods!

So you are looking for another book to listen to and are hoping you dont choose a dud again. Well, youre in luck! I stumbled upon this book and can say I was very pleasantly surprised with a pretty good listen. I would buy this title again. Get it, I dont see how you could be disappointed.

intense, made me break my workout promises

I've promised myself I'd only listen to audio books while working out, but this was such an intense exciting listen that I found myself listening whenever possible to see where the story would go next. It may not have featured the typical Deaver characters we know and love but the same interesting twists were here.

Definately worth the download.

Jeffery Deaver does it again

Great book! The usual twists and turns that I have come to expect from Deaver and great characters like always.

Pretty standard stuff

As thrillers go, this was pretty good. If I had to make the buying decision over, I would still buy it. It was too predictable but better than average.

I thought it was a great story. I loved the perspective changes. Reads like a movie.
