Paris, 1945. A manhunt is raging across the liberated city, conducted by the British, American, and French intelligence services. One man is more eager than most to find the quarry: Airey Neave, head of Room 900, the ultra-secret MI9 department. With him, it's personal. "Great historical fiction!"

I thoroughly enjoyed Blue Noon. The main character is an anti-hero you just can’t help rooting for even though he is a complete sh*t. The rest of the characters are drawn quickly, but expertly, as complicated and thoroughly believable human beings. History is the setting but it never takes over the story. My first Ryan novel, but certainly not the last!

Just an old retired guy, eyesight not as good as it was, so really enjoy listening to these books. Been listening for about 6 years.

    "Just my kind of book"

If you like a book with a little world ward history and lots of intrigue the auther does a really good job. I expected more romance, but there is only the slight subtle inclusion of steamy scenes. Was more than I expected and very enjoyable reading.

    "Very well written and read"

Definitely the best book I have had from Audible.
Solid story with painstaking detail and strong characters meant that it was difficult to put down.
Although 10 hours long it never ran out of steam, and there are always more twists to keep you guessing
Really deserves more than 5 stars !

    "Gripping and exciting"

A great story and a great listen. Amazing that this is a true story. Unlike other reviewers I did take to the main character and just allowed myself to be absorbed in the gripping story. Historically this is well researched which adds to the quality of the book. Highly recommended!
