Audible Editor Reviews

John Creasey wrote this classic crime series under the pseudonym Anthony Morton, one of 28 aliases under which Creasey prolifically practiced his craft. In this audiobook version of The Baron Again, Carl Prekopp performs the ongoing story of John Mannering - aka the Baron - in his appealing and resonant English accent, honed for the audio stage over years with BBC Radio. Many listeners might already be familiar with "The Baron" television series inspired by Creasey’s books. Just as these British novels about a reformed burglar turned investigator thrived on the small screen, so do they prosper in the audiobook format when dramatized by a seasoned voice actor.
