From the same author that brought you the Flint series, comes a new town...a new drama. Treasure Hernandez is back with her second street series chronicling both sides of Baltimore's black market. Derek Fuller is the head detective of the Baltimore Narcotics Division. His team has been assigned to take down the biggest drug operation in the city. There's only one problem...the head of the operation is his twin brother, Scar Johnson. Separated in Baltimore's foster care system, they came from two different walks of life, but both met at the top on opposite sides of the law. With the Assistant District Attorney in their back pocket, this was a marriage made in heaven - until the drama and deceit enters. Delve into this treacherous story of love, deceit, lies, and murder. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and once one brother feels betrayed, the only retribution is death.

Absolutely. Great plot, interesting characters, nicely paced.
Yes. This book was unpedictable without being unrealistic. You want to know what's going to happen to the characters in the end, but the journey there pulls the reader in.
He did an awesome job bringing out each character's distinct personality. He didn't just read, he performed.
Yes! All 18 hours if I could have.
I was hesitant when I didn't see any reviews but Im glad I checked this out. This should be on TV. Really enjoyed this read.
What I loved about this book was two very distinct things it was 18 hours long and it was GOOOOOOD! I like long books, but only if they are good. The narrator, what a voice, yummm (sorry), but it added to the entire project. I live near B-more on the Virginia side and have heard about the wire etc, so to draw from that knowledge base made it so true. This was like a movie in my head. A great love, widespread corruption, deception, karma like a MUG, lol, politics, book smart w/o street smart and vice versa. Wont disappoint!
Yes, the story was well put together. The voices and lingo were realistic. The people and/or situations were relatable.
Sex and Corruption
The narrator was awesome!
from minute one this dam roller coaster book was gripping. I mean the bomb baby. I was so gone on how each character interconnected & errr body had a vicious agendas to get to the top & all fell short from greed. I especially love how the 1 long book than the book123 shit..lol I was heartbroken when Tiffany died & Day ohhh that made me cry like really. .. this book was a banger!!!♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Voice was a male all the way through even for the women voices. I would have thought it would be more interesting if there were more than one narrator for almost 19hrs. Overall the story was very interesting as the lives of all the characters have their own story. I rate this book 3/6.
One of the best. I listen to a lot of urban dramas and this is one of the best I've heard. It kept my attention the entire 18 plus hours.
Tiffany was a hot mess. She was a good villain.
He was able to use a lot of different accents and voices to make the characters come to life.
Yes, it was hard to put it down.
I loved this book so much I have listed to it three times in less than one month. it was so real....it wasn't over the top, but it was just ratchet enough for me. kept me on my toes and the edge of my seat literally.
yup...I dam near worked overtime because I didn't want to stop listening...
this was a really good read 5 stars!!!!
Dept Q, Harry Hole... where are you?
By the second chapter it is obvious this was written by someone trying to be a badass, with senseless language, sex and truly stupid prosecutors and police.
