From Brad Thor, the number-one New York Times best-selling author of Code of Conduct, comes a lightning-paced short story, pitting Scot Harvath against a threat unlike any he's faced before....
A deadly betrayal is at the center of The Athens Solution. As the sun sets on the Aegean Sea, Harvath must go head to head with a traitorous adversary in a confrontation that puts the fate of America and her allies at risk.
Originally published in the short story anthology Thriller, The Athens Solution has been revised and includes a brand-new bonus afterword. I love espionage, legal, and detective thrillers but listen to most genres. Very frequent reviews. No plot spoilers! Please excuse my typos!
...rather than short stories. This (very) short story is written by one of my favorite authors. The audiobook is 63 minutes and it includes the short story, some discussion by the author, and a chapter from one of his novels. The actual short story is very short indeed.
This audiobook is disappointing coming from an author as talented as Brad Thor.
How does one fight against greed? Scot Harvath is going to try and find out. The islands of Greece are more treacherous than one realizes especially under sniper fire.
Brad Thor definitely left me wanting more from this one. Fast paced action hope there is a part 2 in the future.
After listening to 3 books narrated by Bronson Pinchot, I was very disappointed with the lack of narration character depth for this book. So much so that I'm choosing not to invest in Audible selections by Brad Thor using this narrator. Very disappointed.
Would LOVE to have a full blown story. Loved It. It was fast and the twists were tantalizing and provacative. DISH Brad gives some more, gives us the rest of the story ...
What was the purpose of this short story, to show that Harvath is fallible? That was a given.Otherwise, it just felt like a mental exercise for Thor.
Not a chance bough the book expecting a one hour story.
It was more of a commercial to buy more if his books.
May be the last for me
