Really Good Story

This is a very interesting and yet believable story. I enjoyed all the characters as well as the storylines. There are twist and turns and very well performed I thought.

Enjoyable

I enjoy listening to Sandra Brown's books. I look forward to my drive home when I'm involved in her books. The narrator on this one has a low voice. I had to turn up the volume to hear it clearly.

As always, great story good characters

I always enjoy this author's stories, Good characters, arouse a desire to meet them......there is always a twist in the plot, and suspense all throughout. This is again a bit different, enjoyable.

Surprise ending

I enjoyed the twist and turn in the story but the surprise ending was the icing on the cake.

Kept me on the edge of my seat

This is the most suspenseful book I’ve read in a long long time!!! I can’t wait to read the next one of Sandra’s books.

It was enjoyable but predictable

Enjoyable listen. Worth it, but still more predictable than her other books.
Go ahead and relax and listen.

Narrator’s Voice

This might have been an interesting read if not for the narrator. His voice kept my mind wandering elsewhere instead of listening to the book narration.

I loved this book and the soothing voice of the narrator!
The story was intriguing and spellbinding. I loved every minute of it!

Gripping stuff

I initially thought…‘my goodness too many characters’ but as the story progressed & the plot thickened everything came together… would preferred a different ending though but I guess we’ll never know If Hammond got elected as DA after his confession… but great story & plot nonetheless
