Publisher's summary

The Women's Murder Club faces an unspeakable horror in an irresistible hospital and courtroom thriller by number one best-selling author James Patterson.

Somebody dies.

A young mother is recuperating in a San Francisco hospital when she is suddenly gasping for breath. The call button fails to bring help in time. The hospital's doctors, some of the best in the nation, are completely mystified by her death. How did this happen?

Apocalypse nears.

This is not the first such case at the hospital. Just as patients are about to be released with a clean bill of health, their conditions take a devastating turn for the worse. Accompanied by the newest member of the Women's Murder Club, Yuki Castellano, Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer probes deeper into the incidents. Could these cases just be appalling coincidences? Or is a maniac playing God with people's lives? When someone close to the Women's Murder Club begins to exhibit the same frightening symptoms, Lindsay fears no one is safe.

The fifth horseman rides.

It is a wild race against time as Lindsay's investigation reveals a hospital administration determined to shield its reputation at all costs. And while the hospital wages an explosive court battle that grips the entire nation, Lindsay and the Women's Murder Club hunt for a merciless killer among its esteemed medical staff.

The newest addition to the top-selling new mystery series takes the Women's Murder Club to the most terrifying heights of suspense they have yet to encounter. The 5th Horseman proves once again that James Patterson is "the page-turningest author in the game right now" (San Francisco Chronicle).

Wow!!!! This series is PHENOMENAL!!!!!

Each book in The Women's Murder Club series gets better and better. This is by far the best series I have read. James Patterson is a master storyteller and has me hooked from the first page. I couldn't stop listening to this book. I highly recommend this book. I actually recommend the entire series. You will not be disappointed, this book is definitely worth a credit. Just be warned, once you start this be prepared to not want to put it down.

Not the strongest of the Women 's Murder Book

This is not my favorite of this series. The murder mystery and plot line for me was getting tiring through out the book.

almost perfect...

I just wished they would have expanded more on how they pinpointed the angel of death.

Predictable

This has been the most predictable of all the books in the series thus far. The narrator struggles with all the characters voices.

No music

Story: Decent
Narrator: Good
Details: obviously written by an east coaster. Best Foods not Hellman's. Dryers not Edy's

But good grief, ditch the dramatic music!!!!!

Good book, but.....

The story was entertaining, but I don't want to hear music in the background. It was very distracting and annoying, and I really didn't care for the narrator's voice.
