Shocked

This was a great book but I was VERY disappointed to find it was such a short story!!
I can’t afford to buy a lot of books! I love the Bosch series so was excited to find this one!!
Now I have to go almost a month without listening to a book because I can’t afford to buy another one!!
Very frustrating!!

Good short story

Enjoyable. I really like this short story, like everything Michael Connelly writes. Well worth the purchase. The performance was equally good.

Absolutely love Michael Connelly’s novels and short stories!! He is a mastermind of suspense and brings you to the very edge.

Loved this short story. Saw some previous comments that complained they didn’t know it was not a novel, I always look at the time length of the presentation. I never get enough and am thoroughly addicted!!

This is essentially a short story. It lacks the depth and complexity one expects from a Harry Bosch tale. It's clearly marked as short by both the listening time and the price, but I guess I just expected a little more. I just never got engaged.

Could you see Switchblade being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No. There's barely enough story here for 50 minutes of listening, much less a series. A Harry Bosch series, on the other hand . . .

Good Short Story

This was a good short story. I read one of the books in the series and wasn't blown away by it, but I may try and give the series another shot based on this. The ending had a twist I didn't see coming and I liked how it came together; plus, I always enjoy the cold case books and the forensic details that are essential to the plot. The narration was good as well.

I love the Bosch series. I have listened to them all. I did not realize this one was such a short book when I bought it.
Sad, but kinda a waste of my time and money. 🥲

Great Short Story

This was a nice short story and I really enjoyed it. Good plot and characters. If you are looking for a short murder mystery, you can't go wrong.
