Unhappy

Way to graphic. Hard to get started. Made my stomach turn. Was not anything that was promised. Keep hoping for it to get better never did

Disturbing

I found this book to be a bit too disturbing for me. It's been a while since I've read any Patterson books, so I must have forgotten! It was a little too much listening to the detailed blow by blow description of torture of women and children..

Too gruesome for me.

I am sorry I wasted a book credit on this book.
Never again will I "listen" to James Patterson.

Another Disappointing Collaboration

I really like James Patterson's books, but since he has been co-authoring these stories, I cannot remember one that I've really liked.
This one is not believable. The characters are stupid, shallow and not interesting, even the "evil killer" is bland. It is all very predictable and for me really, sorry to say, a waste of a credit.

Disappointed at the end...

All in all it wasn't too bad, if a bit graphic and gross.. I did, however, feel that the ending was a real let down... All in all if I had it to do over I would pass...

Disappointed

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a James Patterson book. I used to read them as they were released but then he started releasing them one right after one was released. I could not keep up nor afford them.
I was truly disappointed in this one. The end was anticlimactic. After all that build up, then what I guess was supposed to be a happy ending.
A ton of loose ends and no explanation of several things.

Very disappointing

I wish I had read some of the reviews before downloading this one. I am a fan of James Patterson but this was not his usual style. In hind sight, I wish I would have saved the credit and bought something else. Not really worth the read/listen.

Buy as last resort

Wasn't a total disappointment, but sorry I spent money to buy it instead of waiting until it was $5 or so. Good story, but I was expecting a much, much better Patterson novel.

Boo. Hiss. Boo. Bad, bad book.

Boring. Grusome. Just plain junk throw together and thrown up to the listener/reader. The protagonist is shallow at best. The antagonist is never explained or developed. He just jumps from one vicious act to another. It never blends together. Never hooked my interest and I began to hope the earth would explode in the middle of the book and suck all characters in! I hope Patterson had very little to do with this novel and he goes into the government protection program the next time Paetro comes near him with a script!
Awful book!

Sad

I am a big fan of the author but this book was very disappointing. I expected more.
