Great Book!!!

This book had me hooked from chapter one. There were heart felt, tear jerking moments, as well as, heart pounding suspense. The story was complex and the characters were fully developed and had you rooting for them. The dog being so well intergraded to the story was a true bonus for this dog lover.

Get this one!

You’re just going to love the journey of cheering along the injured cop and injured dog storyline. It’s deeper than that, and very very good all the way around! Glad I purchased!

Good story!

I'm a dog trainer of 45 years and really enjoyed it but some trainers will hate it because it doesn't match their methods of rewards, and a few facts were slightly off.

BUT! It's not a freaking text book! it's a novel about a great relationship between a broken ex Military Working Dog and a broken cop and it also does a good job explaining dogs with jobs.

It was good! Narrator did really well and I'm super picky about narrators. Starts off with tragedy but it's how the story has to work.

If you're reading the reviews you're tempted - give it a try!

Great Story and Great Characters

Beautifully written and performed. I never once wanted to skip forward except when the suspense was too much. l wholeheartedly recommend this book.

Loved It

The story is great! I love a good book that keeps me wanting more. The dog helps too!

My very favorite.

I have read this book at least three times and listened to it at least five or six times. The reader is amazing and I love Scott and Maggie even more. If I need to be cheered up this is my go-to book.
