Great story!
I love Brian Freeman books, especially the Stride series. This is a complex story with many twists and is nearly impossible to stop listening to so I can work, lol. Does not disappoint!

A LITTLE TOO LONG
This book was nearly as good as the first one in the series. It seemed the ending was at least an hour or more too late. When I thought it should be over, I checked how many minutes I had left and knew I was not even close. I liked the narration, I thought he did a good job. Still a 4 star rating: good story, good characters, and looking forward to the third in the series.

This book was definitely not how I imagined Detective Stride and his partner Serena continuing their work after the first book. Be open-minded when listening, and understand that the setting is Vegas.... what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!

Great Story with Many Twists
I really enjoyed this book, as it was full of suspense, and so many things tied others together. I enjoyed all the main characters. I would recommend this book. The only thing that really annoyed me was there were dozens of characters that would come into play and gone. Some came back into the story, but with really no substance. I was annoyed because there were way to many characters to keep track of - seriously. But as a whole, this was an excellent suspense, with many other on-going stories in it.

I just love this author.
I started the books and didn't realize there was a certain order. I'm so enthralled with so enthralled with this character, Johnathan Stride. I'm going to stay with the first book, skip 2 and 3 (I've listed to those) then finish the series out. This authors writing style is awesome. Detailed without being boring or repetitive, engaging and interesting. These are a must listen to.
