Publisher's summary

In today's world of shaky social structures, an elite education is invaluable. But, a body count just might be too much.

Jannie Sparrow, a small woman, has secured a modest home in Sunny Point, Louisiana where the sun is hot, but the high school is the best.

While Jannie is attending a parent-teacher conference, the high school was struck by a mass murder, and no one asks why. Now adored by the world as a result of saving lives while shielding her son from harm, she finds that a toy chest in her home is full of guns, and a bomb.

As a system of powerful residents pressures her to keep quiet, she discovers that most of the evidence no longer exists, and all of the shooters are believed to be dead. The investigation is set to be closed and she thinks this is almost over. But how can this ever be over?

Does she cause her sons to be imprisoned and turn it all to shame, that will last for generations? Or does she put on a fake smile and look away from all of the families of the victims and succumb to fame and fortune?

a modern take on parenthood and integrity

this book is a prime example of strong narrative, descriptive, and passion fusing into a compelling tale that is relateable.

Murder Mystery..

Any additional comments?

This is a suspenseful thrilling story about Jannie, a Mother, fighting for her son.

She is at a parent - teacher meeting and the unexpected happens.

There are twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end.

Overall, the story line was entertaining.

My only complaint is that I wish the book was a little longer.

Daniela Acitelli did well with the narration.

Yes, just yes!

Any additional comments?

I had no expectation with this listen but man, was it good.

The story itself was unpleasant but it was delivered in such a way that kept me listening.

The narrator was excellent! The subject of school shootings is disconcerting but the narrator was able to keep an even keel, keep me listening and keep characters sympathetic.

And that ending!!! Totally worth the listen.

gotta wait to book two? :( hate that.

I would of given this 5 stars, but i hate when there is a book two to finds out what happens, and you don't know it before you start reading the book. Why can't they just write it all in one and charge a few bucks more?
Ok now on to the story.
Its a good story, I enjoyed the moms struggles, and heartache. I would of hated to be in her shoes. I love how she helped so many! I differently felt for Janie and what was gong on.

We need more

This book kicks it off big right away! The beginning is tense due to start off with a school shooting. The following story after that has lots of twists and turns. I would love to see a sequel to this book. It ended on a high note and left many unanswered questions.

What would you do?

Sparrow's Song
By: Robyn Graham

A thriller, suspense, murder mystery with plenty of twists to keep the listener wondering.

A single mom chooses a small town with "the right kind of" schools to raise her teenage sons. One day as she attends a parent teacher conference, a mass school shooting happens. She does everything in order to save her sons. After all is said and done many secrets and corruption. She fights to find the truth...........then what? It appears there will be another book unless there's not.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. I've enjoyed Daniela Acitelli's narrations and this is no exception!
