Life according to STONE. .

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, from the Stone Barrington series. Mr. Barrington proves once again, his remarkable capabilities for handling LIFE'S CHALLENGES. Though his LIFE is so much of a fairytale throughout the series, this book packs in many complications and issues that most of us have or may experience in the REAL WORLD. It's always interesting to find out how Stone, an honorable and upstanding citizen, will deal with whatever comes his way. Stone Barrington as a Father, is very touching and enviable. I was moved by the sound advice and numerous life lessons he bestowed upon his son. If only we were all blessed with such a fine paternal figure in our life....

Excellent story line, an emotional roller coaster. I highly recommend this book and all of the books in the series.

DISAPPOINTING

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I DIDN'T LIKE THE TONE OF THIS NOVEL. I COULD TELL IN ADVANCE THE AUTHOR WAS GOING TO KILL OFF STONE'S WIFE. IT COULD HAVE GONE A DIFFERENT WAY. ARRINGTON DIDN'T HAVE TO DIE. SHE COULD HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED OR WHATEVER AND STILL CARRIED THE NOVEL. THE SON, PETER, STARTS OFF AS A 'GOOD KID' AND WINDS UP BEING A TYPICAL TEEN MESS UP. I REALLY BELIEVE IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Would you ever listen to anything by Stuart Woods again?

YES, I WOULD LISTEN AGAIN.

What didn’t you like about Tony Roberts’s performance?

NOT ENOUGH OF THE SOUL OF TONY ROBERT'S. SEEMED LIKE A COP OUT.

Was Son of Stone worth the listening time?

IFFY.

Another Rush Job

Every now and then, Stuart puts out a book that feels like he is just meeting a deadline. This is one of those books. It feels as though very little thought was put into the story, especially compared to some of the complicated plot lines we all are used to. Still a decent story, but a bit disappointing.

Son of Stone is a good read

Yeah.. It's not the usual Stone Barrington novel, but all in all I enjoyed it. I am looking forward to the next Barrington book.

I Love Stuart Woods...and Tony Roberts

I am a Stone Barrington fan X 8 inverted. I have read all of the "stone barrington" novels. I love this one knowing that a little "stone" will be shedding light on the future??? Looking foward to what Peter and Ben can come up with??? Go "PETBEN" studios! I WANT MORE, Mr Woods, ASAP!!!

Stuart woods is a bad person

Having a high school girl get an abortion and then play it off as no big deal is just wrong.
