    "We need more Destroyer books!"
Would you consider the audio edition of Slave Safari to be better than the print version?

Actually, yes, the performance is excellent.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Slave Safari?

Chuin demanding to find the Washington Pollsters because his Soaps were cancelled to broadcast Watergate coverage.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Remo "eliminating" 2 companies of men, de-tusking several elephants, and disabling six jeeps, all while naked.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The Sun Source of Martial Arts comes to Africa.

    Any additional comments?

Please add more of these to Audible. They are great chunks of entertainment.

    "Destroyer fan"
Would you listen to Slave Safari again? Why?

I have read these books since I was about 16. I love the satire, and especially how the characters interact with the political figures of the day, and how the authors systematically destroy the rampant political correctness of the era. These books are not for children because of all the sex and violence. But they are extremely hilarious and wonderful escapism. Yes, I will listen again, but I would like to see more of these titles

What other book might you compare Slave Safari to and why?

Executioner series. Impossible action sequences. Executioner is modern weapons. Destroyer is everything else.

Which character – as performed by Gray Gleason – was your favorite?

    Chiun

    "Pulp fiction at its finest"

The two Destroyer books available in audible (the other being Chinese Puzzle) are a fun and action-packed romp and the reading by Gray Gleason is fantastic, with the narrator doing a variety of believable voices and accents, from title characters Remo and Chiun to a host of others that fit into the pulp fiction nature of the novel. Hopefully there are more Destroyer novels to come with Gleason as the narrator.

    "Classic satire"

I read this as a young adult. The satire still holds up. As does the unique action. Hopefully a new generation will discover Remo Williams.
