Margot Lewis is a teacher at an exclusive high school in the English university town of Cambridge. In her spare time, she writes an advice column, "Dear Amy", for the local newspaper. Most annoying narration
I found the predictable, dull narration so distracting that I was unable to decide if the book might be well written. The main female character is definitely several sizes too naive and dumb for my taste. Somehow, the plot was apparently captivating enough to help me suffer through to the end. I can only hope that I will eventually be able to erase the narrator's repetitive sing song from my ear. Being a fluent reader surely cannot be the only requirement for an audiobook narrator?
