What begins as a snake hunt leads Cabrillo onto the trail of a far more lethal quarry - a deranged militant and his followers who plan to unleash the devastating power of nature itself against all who oppose them.

I have only just started reading Clive Cussler. Tumbled onto him by accident.... I always thought he wrote stuff like Louis L'Amour -- boy, was I wrong. I have THOUROUGHLY enjoyed this series (Juan Cabrillo) and can't get enough now.
Terrific, interesting, fast-paced, great characters - just wonderful. Of course, Scott Brick brings the characters to life so well....
Linda in Omaha
An interesting and current story involving radical environmentalists, uprising in African countries, and high seas adventure, with a few diamonds thrown in for added interest. I have not read a bad Clive Cussler book yet, and the Audible books narrated by Scott Brick are the best. Makes me want more.
This is a very good action packed adventure. I enjoyed it very much. Performance kept the action sharp and exciting. Thanks.
Just enough to not be the same old tired story! And Scot Brick delivers a nail biting performance.
What an incredible, pure, story of good prevailing, evil defeated, heroism. It goes chapter after chapter then the gratuitous - yet mild - profanity. Clive could write forever without a cuss word and it would not affect the pure entertainment of his books.
This book was very good and had interesting and suprising events. The ideas were not easy to predict and though unusual, were somehow believable. My husband felt the book "drug" toward the end, bur I enjoyed it all.
Audible Books have allowed me to be a "reader". I now enjoy novels and stories I never knew about.
Yes the narration makes it live for me
No I like to spread it out, to enjoy it longer
Looking forward to the rest of the series, but would love Audible to get Books, 1,2&3
Let's face it. We don't read Clive Cussler because we are expecting something new and different. We know we'll get a good, fun, improbable, pretty long piece of entertainment. Cussler never fails to deliver the goods. Every story will have The Hero in some impossible situation and he will be saved by Deus Ex Machina, sometimes in the form of the author, depending on which series one is reading. This one is no exception. I am rather fonder of the Dirk Pitt books than this series, probably because Dirk has flashing green eyes, but hey, it's still good fun, even if I can't remember anything about the book's plot half an hour after I finish reading. And I really enjoy learning stuff about the oceans and their ecology. Any book from which I can take knowledge is not time wasted.
One obvious chase scene after another with ludicrous situations such as a prolonged conversation with the top half of a man's body after bottom was chopped off.
Yes!!! I was instantly hooked with the Fargo Adventures. This one doesn't have much of an interesting storyline for me, i could never get into it and hardly remember most of the book. The Fargo Adventures is now easily my 4th favorite series of all time!
