Love the twist
With the trailers for this movie playing in theaters I grabbed the audio book so I could see what it was all about. First, I must mention that the narration is excellent. Second, I liked that I didn't see the twist coming. Well told tale and well narrated. Two thumbs up.

i am not a reader of thrillers or mysteries, and was reluctant to listen to this book, despite the praise of a good friend. i enjoyed this listen tremendously and stayed up far too late one night listening to the end. engaging story and great narration...

A good read!
Another book that I found hard to put down. The twists and turns were very interesting and at the same time perturbing. I didn't get things the way I wanted them, but have to admit that the author won the psychological wrestling match in which he engaged me. I'm going to tackle this one again someday, when I stop panting from the exertion and struggle. Well narrated, I will recommend this one to those who are not faint of heart.

Great narrator, but bad story
The story itself was pretty boring overall, the plot has been too slow and without too much content, I forced myself to keep hearing it because I know all the buzz around this book and the movie, when I got to the ending, about 3 hours to the end, it began to be interesting, only for 1 hour before it blew it all away with one of the worst ending I can remember. BUT, the narrator was amazing.

A Superb...
... psychological thriller. A lonely island, a mental institution, a battering hurricane, people who are not what they seem, twists and turns, this tale has it all. Cozy up. Highly recommended.
