This story is HYPNOTIC!!
What made the experience of listening to Sharp Objects the most enjoyable?
The story - so twisted and haunting. Gillian Flynn can spin an amazing story; I was alternately drawn to the mystery, but so deeply repulsed by the disturbing family that I did not want to find out who committed the murders and why.
Who was your favorite character and why?
True to Gillian Flynn's work, all the characters were both deeply troubled and worth praise, pity, and loathing.
What about Ann Marie Lee’s performance did you like?
Clear, perfect pace. She also carried the right amount of gravity for such a desperate and chilling story.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Gillian Flynn's work is wrenching; I was afraid, devastated, angered and enthralled. I literally could NOT stop listening.

kind of nasty
I kind of liked it but in the other hand it's has some kind of Hello language and nasty as well although it's kind of a thriller the audible would have been better without being nasty and having foul language

Murders Twists and turns a really crazy ending bad girls being creepy and scandalous gossiping neighbors popping pills with their cocktails...these are a few of my favorite things! Lol... ALL of which does a good book make! GET THIS BOOK!

Great Purchase!
At first I was a tad weary about this book. The reader was a little monotoned and it threw me off in the beginning. Once I continued listening I actually found her voice very relaxing. The story was great! An awesome psychological thriller with a twist. I would recommend this book to anyone!

Awesome!
This was an amazing read! It was unpredictable and kept me interested throughout. It was never boring and I was hooked the minute I started listening. The narrator was also great, and she did a fantastic job with all the different character voices. I highly recommend!
