Following a trail of misdeeds that stretches nationwide, Conner slowly uncovers a shocking agenda. Surviving will mean struggling to expose the plot as relentlessly as his shadowy enemies seek to conceal it - and fighting for his life as ruthlessly as those determined to end it.

"Frey has the undeniable ability to explain complex financial transactions while at the same time providing plenty of action and nuggets of insider money lore." (Publishers Weekly)
"Harrowing....Stephen Frey enlivens finance the way Patricia Cornwell does forensic science and the way Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code) does medieval studies." (Forbes)
Poorly written, even more poorly narrated, this is the only audiobook I have ever downloaded that I haven't finished. The characters were not likable, I couldn't have cared less what happened to them, and the story dragged on with incomprehensible plot twists. The narrator is absolutely awful too. All in all, I'd recommend passing on this one.
