Horrible voice performance

The story felt almost forced. Very repetitive like there was a requirement to be a certain length.
The narrator ruined the story with his truly disappointing performance.

Separation of Power

The best Mitch Rapp I have read yet. A feint within a feint within a feint. Great fun! Thank you for a wonderful story.

Narrator Makes a Big Difference

The previous 4 books made our hero, Mitch Rapp, seem almost superhuman in his abilities, yet there was a personable side under the surface. This book book, not so much. I realized early on it was due to Kliban’s interpretation of the character. Here, Rapp is voiced in a nasly, whiney fashion that makes him appear more like my sniveling kid brother than the world-class covert operative we know him to be. Good story, but the telling could have been much better.

Could be great, not GRATING due to reader

This reader already has a nasal twang to his voice...when he takes sorties into characterization, his voice enters the "awful" or "woeful".

Flynn is a great storyteller. His publisher let him down with this choice of narrator.

PASS.

Another excellent story, but poor performance

The story was great. I often take a walk outside while listening. The fluctuations in the emphasis and volume of the speaker made it very difficult to find the appropriate volume. It was either too loud or very difficult to hear. I won’t buy another audio book narrated by Ken Kliban.

good story, bad narration.

Would you try another book from Vince Flynn and/or Ken Kliban?

I would try another book by Vince Flynn, but not this narrator.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the plot of the book.

Would you be willing to try another one of Ken Kliban’s performances?

I would not recommend any book narrated by this narrator.

Was Separation of Power worth the listening time?

If you were to purchase the abridged version, which I suggest. This version has a better narrator if you don't mind a short version of the novel.

Narrator Turns Rapp Into A Whining Wimp!

Is there anything you would change about this book?
If I had the money I would pay George Guidall anything he wanted to redo this book so Mitch Rapp sounds like a man!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Good plot.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Ken Kliban?
Ken Kilban destroyed a good story. His narration is so bad at times it is impossible to distinguish Rapp's lines from his wife's! The worst narrated book in the entire series!
