Ken Kilban - has been Rapp's WORST FOE!

What did you like best about Separation of Power? What did you like least?

The story is GREAT! The narrator is so bad!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

It would if they didn't make Mitch sound like a whiner!

What didn’t you like about Ken Kilban’s performance?

He doesn't understand the characters at all

Could you see Separation of Power being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

yes!

Horrible narrator

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I only listened to this audiobook for 2 minutes before I decided to read it myself. The narrator is horrible. Bring on George Guidall. He's good.

The story is as good as any of the other in the Rapp series. Almost impossible to put down. I read the book in two evenings.

major error!<br />

I enjoy the Mitch Rapp series. I gave it a 5 for story based on past books. I'm having a problem finishing this one because of the narrator. This narrator makes Mitch sound like a little whiny neurotic. He doesn't do anybody in the story any favors with his narration. please bring back George Guidall!. He is the voice for this series. Nobody else is going to do this series like Mr Guidall. No way does Mitch sound like this kid.

Story great, narrator terrible!!!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series and the authors, but this fifth installment was absolutely ruined by the narrator!! First of all it was apparent that he didn’t take time to listen to he previous narrators as he pronounced most of the characters names incorrectly which was frustrating cause you had to figure out who he was talking about. And to make it worse he sounds like a cross between a 1930 news anchor/a no personality Ivy League professor/ robot!! I had en extremely hard time following this book just because the author was so irritating but I love the story! Luckily I see this is the only book in the series the he narrates!

Great book, terrible narration.

If you could sum up Separation of Power in three words, what would they be?

Worst narration EVER.

What did you like best about this story?

Another great story in the series but spoiled by the reading.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

In every way possible, he made Rapp and all other male characters sound like wimpy girls and it was very difficult to tell who he was trying to be. Not any better with female voices.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Story was good, I enjoy the series but would never purchase another book read by this guy.

Just too much disbelief to put aside.

Poor narration made it difficult to empathize with any of the characters. Anna should go.

Great Story, but the Narrator ....OMG

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The book is fine ....the narrator is like listening to nails on a chalkboard!! Couldn't wait for the story to end.

How could the performance have been better?

A different narrator

Wish Rapp could assasinate the narrator!

Like all of the other reviews on this page....I HATE THIS WHINY NARRATOR! I will look over all the other books in this series, and only buy if this guy has NOTHING to do with the narration!

Awful Performance - Another Great Story by Flynn

Any additional comments?

The narrator, Ken Kliban, has a good voice, but TERRIBLE situational inflexion! Honestly, the worst I've heard. Many time, a character supposedly talking in hushed voices or whispers to avoid being overheard, was being yelled by Ken. An incredibly snarky attitude comes through in all of the characters.

The earlier Flynn book's narrations was terrific - despite the reviews that were disappointed when the narration was compared to the later books (put on Audible before the earlier books, apparently). But without the comparison, as I am listening to them in the order written, I have been very happy with all of them, until this disaster.

Nevertheless, I got through it so that I could continue the excellent series.
