Review

I don’t care for the narrator to this story. It feels like a very flat story.

Great book, horrible narrator

If you love Mitch Rapp novels, just read this one. The narrator unfortunately uses the same shrill tone for so many characters you’d think all of them only know how to yell at each other. The story is so intriguing I pushed through and listened to all of it, but I’ll probably need to see a shrink for induced anger issues. Skip the audiobook.

The story is good but the narrator...

The narrator made me feel like ever conversation is an argument. He's terrible at reading dialog.

Narration is little to be desired

The reader makes Mitch Rapp sound like a whiny pus. Rapp is too strong of a character to make him out to be as vulnerable as he sounds, even though the book deals with his emotional growth, the reader makes him out to be a soy boy in those situations.

great book horrible narration

Like all the Rapp books this one is fantastic but the narrator suffers from a horrible condition called 'not being George Guidall'. Even without the comparison though, he is irritating enough to listen to that it does detract from the story a little

Great story. Terrible narration.

As as I work through these novels, I could barely stand listening to the narration by this voice actor. It was horrible. He somehow took a great story, and turned every character into a snide, whiny, unappealing persona. I hope this was a one and done.

My ears are bleeding.

The story is great, but the narrator made it a painful listen. Every character sounds high-pitched and nagging. Had to take many breaks while listening to this book because of the narrator.

One series one performer

I have noticed that this series has different performers but this one is definitely not the style for this. Whiny and nasally for American’s best assassin is not the way to go.

Tough to get past the narration

I did not enjoy this book because of the narration. The story was good and I do so like the characters.
