Horrible performance

OMG! The narrator was so pathetic, the entire time I just wanted to the ordeal to end. "long lived" - long i instead of short i - are you serious right now?! Thank all that is wholly, George Guidall is back for the rest of the series.

The narration of this book was not good. Voices were all wrong and done quite badly.

Great story!!!!! Horrible narrator.

I would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn't for the terrible narrator. He does the book no justice.

Good stuff from Vince Flynn as usual

story line and characters were what your expect from this writer. Having listened to all the previous Mitch Rapp stories, I found this narrator to be less than pleasing. It was like listening to Walter Winchell (youngsters look himup) every time a conversation took place. The harsh, strident, argumentative quality of his delvery was a real turn off.

I'm starting to like...

It was good to listen to while I was driving, just a little to stretched out, I will be purchasing the next audio book in the series.

Book was too long!

As a fan of the series, this book spent too much time rehashing things that happened in prior books. It also repeated the same information multiple times from different character perspectives. The book did have a good ending but it just took too long to get there.

We much preferred Nick Sullivan as the narrator because he had the ability to bring each character to life.

Always enjoy Vince Flynn stories

Found narration difficult. Narrator's volume would go down too low to hear then back up.

Narrated by who... Why?!

I enjoyed the story. Vince Flynn is amazing. The choice of narrators is horrible from book 1 to now has been a steady decline luckily the writing is so good.

Great Story - Sub-par Narration

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes, great continuing Mitch Rapp saga.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mitch - he's a man's man and a ladies man.

What aspect of Ken Kilban’s performance would you have changed?

Inflection and pronunciation. He often used long vowel sounds when the word required a short vowel sound and vise-verse.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no. but was always eagerly looking for ward to the next time I had to listen.

Any additional comments?

best reader so far was from books 1 & 2 in the series.

maddening narration

love the series but the narrator draws o..u..t..e..v..e..r..y..s..y..l..l..a..b..l..e. Guidall is simply the best. Moves really slow for first 15 or so chapters.
