Publisher's summary

A walk down the aisle, a resort hotel, a drink on the beach...for these unlucky couples, the honeymoon's over.

A newlywed couple steps into the sauna in their deluxe honeymoon suite - and never steps out again. When another couple is killed while boarding their honeymoon flight to Rome, it becomes clear that someone is targeting honeymooners, and it's anyone's guess which happy couple is next on the list.

FBI Agent John O'Hara is deep into solving the case, while Special Agent Sarah Brubaker is hunting another ingenious serial killer, whose victims all have one chilling thing in common.

As wedding hysteria rises to a frightening new level, John and Sarah work ever more closely together in a frantic attempt to decipher the logic behind two rampages. Second Honeymoon is James Patterson's most mesmerizing, most exciting, and most surprising thriller ever.

Another great Patterson novel!!!!!

I enjoyed this book immensely from beginning to end. This book grabs your attention from early on and keeps it throughout the entire book. It has lots of action. There are two serial killers on the loose in this book. John chases one, while Sarah an FBI special agent from Quanico chases the other. Eventually they team up to try and bring them down together.
As I stated earlier this book grabs your attention from the beginning making it hard stop listening. I blew through both Honeymoon books in one weekend. This book is definitely worth a credit and I believe the reader will enjoy this book as much as I did.
Jay Snyder and Ellen Archer both did a fantastic job narrating this book. I really enjoyed listening to the sound of both of their voices. The only thing I didn't like about this book was the awful sound effects. Their was no need for them and it math

Great characters and story line. I will buy more books by these two authors.

What about Jay Snyder and Ellen Archer ’s performance did you like?

Very well read. This narrator did not get in the way of the story like some narrators do.

Not as good as Honeymoon

Not as good as Honeymoon, but still good. It seems hard for a second book in a series to live up to the first one.

Another winner by Patterson!

What made the experience of listening to Second Honeymoon the most enjoyable?

The weaving together of two mysteries kept me interested. The addition of a potential love interest was a nice touch!

Which scene was your favorite?

Believe it or not- the murder of the two honeymooners in the airport was quite unique. What an imagination!

Fun ride, good twists

How many different crime fighter stories can there be where multiple factors collide in a believable way? Well, now there is one more and it's a good one. As soon as the story began I was invested and interested to see how the different stories were going to collide. The story did not disappoint. It was creative, with some great twists.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the male narrator, Jay Snyder. The female wasn't great either, but it felt like she got better as the story went on and she became nicely invisible. Snyder though was overly dramatic to the point of making the listen less enjoyable. There were several moments when I thought, "oh, that was lame" and at first thought it was badly written, then I realized that if those moments hadn't been read by someone who was massively overacting, they might have been funny and endearing, instead, they came across as just bad.

There is also quite a bit of dramatic music and some sound effects like footsteps which were really jarring at first. I have never listened to a book on Audible that included those. I got used to them, and while I don't think they added to the story, for me, they weren't a negative.

This is a light summer listen. There are a lot of those out there, but this one is smart, fun, and worthy of investing the time. I recommend.

Not my cup of tea

Didn’t care for the dueling plots . No twists, very little build up if there was one . very two dimensional .

Great Story!

Another great story from James Patterson. I loved the two stories and how he wove them together. My only complaint is the different voices of narrators. I prefer to just stick with 1 story teller. A little distracting, but certainly doesn't ruin the book.
