Publisher's summary

When an English tycoon dies mysteriously, he leaves a note naming six people who might have wanted him dead. Daisy Kean and PI Harry Montana team up to take the suspects - and also six red herrings - on a Mediterranean cruise, culminating at his beautiful villa on Capri, where his will is to be read and the killer unmasked.

With the beautiful seaside settings plus the beginnings of a romance between loner Montana and wary Daisy, passions flare and the mystery deepens. And in the end, the unexpected twists are just the beginning.

Decent plot

Easy ready and much better than most of her other novels. The only point of contention is with the narrator- her Yorkshire dialect as it related to Tom was terrible … a cross between Scottish and something else- but definitely not Yorkshire. It’s distracting when you come from the area - I’d rather the narrator not try.

A MODERN DAY AGATHA CHRISTI

If you start listening to this in the evening, you may not get any sleep. The pacing is perfect and you'll find it difficult to guess who is the guilty one. Along the way a dozen or more characters are well portrayed and believeable. The narrator is surprizingly versatile in voice, tone and style.

Entertaining and fun

Truly enjoyed this novel. The story was engaging, even with some humor along the way. The plot moved well, and suspense was a part of the fun, and what kept me turning the pages long after I would normally be sleeping.

Painful inaccurate narration when using foreign accents.

Good story and the narrator was fine when speaking for any Americans. Not even close with main character, Bob or anyone else from the UK. French and Italian accents were ok.

Sailing to Capri

I enjoyed this book Thoroughly. Old loves new friendships and a mystery solved. It was hard to stop listening to this book. The story and performance kept me wanting for more. Take the time to listen to this book. He will enjoy it.

Reader is passive

Great story but hard to finish due to reader. Pronunciations are good but pacing and voice is too linear.

Good story!

Very enjoyable story, a little mystery, a little romance and author kept it moving at a good tempo. I like her style and will buy more of her books.

Slow beginning

A slow detailed beginning that comes to a quick end. Good story overall, a nice easy listen to pass the time until my next credit is available.
