Publisher's summary

Across the country women are being murdered by a killer who leaves no evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of struggle, and no clues to a motive. They are, truly, perfect crimes. In fact, the only thing that links the victims is the man they all knew: Jack Reacher.

Critic reviews

“Reacher is one of the more interesting suspense heroes to come along in a while.” (San Antonio Express News)

“Jack Reacher, the wandering folk hero of Child’s superb line of thrillers faces a baffling puzzle in his latest adventure…a brain-teasing puzzle that gets put together piece by fascinating piece...and a central character with Robin Hood-like integrity and an engagingly eccentric approach to life.” (Publishers Weekly)

“Deeply satisfying...plan to stay up long past bedtime and do some serious hyperventilating toward the end.” (Kirkus Reviews)

running blind with a surprise around the corner

What made the experience of listening to Running Blind the most enjoyable?

The story line was great and McClain brought it to life.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the many twists to the story line, just when it would start to get lost in details a new turn was added. I also liked the attitude towards the FBI.

Which character – as performed by Jonathan McClain – was your favorite?

Reacher was my favorite character, what guy doesn't see himself as the tragic hero.

Any additional comments?

I will be listening to this again.

Reacher is always better with DIck Hill

Another solid, thrilling Reacher tale, with all I've come to enjoy about Child's lonely hero. But the narration here is either awful, or I'm spoiled by Dick Hill, who has become Reacher for me (far more than Tom Cruise ever will). It just doesn't sound right.

Don't stomp on my LIBERTY!

It was a great book, Lee identifies how simple liberties are violated by our government and they do not care at all. I find it interesting that a Supreme Court can rule that the government can lie to us, but we cannot lie to them or it is obstruction of justice.

Great Read

I couldn't wait to listen every day when I walked, cleaned house and drove in the car. Very engaging plot. I was amused that Reacher had one pair of clothes and underwear for the whole story. Yet, he had every woman falling all over him. He went weeks without new clothes or washing them....hmmmm.

Great story. Did not like the narrator.

The Jack Reacher character wasn't to bad, but all the other characters voices were irritating.

Chill never disappoints with Jack Reacher!

Reacher always keeps me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for the next one. The narrator was excellent as always.

Good story

I found the voices used for many of the characters to be really annoying. Otherwise I enjoyed the story
