Complex but less believable than usual

Good use of the regular characters from prior Bourne stories. But pretty clumsy use of accessory characters (such as Willard, the butler) to explain details of the story.
Personally, I found the use of music and sound effects in crucial parts of the story irritating and distracting.

Bourne Sanction

We listened to the book on a recent trip. We thought it was pretty good.

I loved this book!

Like everyone else, I am a Jason Bourne fan. I received The Bourne Betrayal as a gift so I started with that book first. At first, the beginning seems long and boring. Once the action begins, it difficult to stop listening.

I was sceptical about The Bourne Sanction. Surprising, it is as equally good as The Bourne Betrayal. Sanction starts immediately after Betrayal ends so be sure to read the books in order.

Now, I am reading The Bourne Deception and will backtrack to The Bourne Legacy afterwards. I don't know what I will do afterwards. By the way, Deception begins mediocre. I am still in the beginning but so far, it doesn't seem as good as Betrayal or Sanction.

a good read

It was a fun Bourne read. a bit of a plot twist in the end. it's well worth the time

Very good book

this book kept me interested in wanting to listen to more very good twists and turns in the plot

Saved at the end

Started out well, disappointed during the middle but was saved by the ending. Not as good as other Lustbader "Bourne" books but worth reading.

I enjoy the Bourne series and the author has kept the Ludlum style going. This one had a little too much character development. Could have cut out 1 to 2 hours at least.

Excellent read as the entire series has been. Must read the series in order to grasp.

Totally enjoyable non stop intrigue

I am looking forward to reading the next Jason Bourne exciting book of the fight against terrorism
