"A grippingly readable thriller....Mary Higgins Clark does wonders...." (The Plain Dealer, Cleveland)
I picked this book because I enjoy the reader, but have discovered how talented MHC is. This book is very entertaining and the twists and turns will hold your interest until the surprise ending. This audio is 5 Stars!
I usually enjoy mary Higgins Clarke but I could not get into this book with the back and forth past and present after chapter 7, I just stopped reading it.
The twist and turns kept me glued to my seat. Every time I thought I had the story figured out another plot took root. I live in a Victorian house and often imagine who live here in those days. I think this helped me to fully embrace the possibilities of haunting. But, you certainly don't need to believe in ghost to be taken in by this story. A powerful story of mystery, love and loss!
Never knew would happen next.
Heroine realuzing she was strong and standing her ground.
How she worked all characters in was amaxing.
