Great story!

If you can accept science mixed with fiction then this is the story for you! It is well written and flows well given the premise and supporting science. I hope the next in the series is just as entertaining.

Fun supernatural thriller

Fast-paced and exciting, with great narration. There is little character development, but that doesn't matter for a book like this.

Pendrgast is an unusual character.

Loved how Pendrgast puts people in their places in such a stylish and unobtrusive way.

I may just have ti listen to the next book too!

All good but the naration

The story was really great. I recommend it and all of the Pendergast novels. The naration wasn't up to par with the later novel's though.

loved it!!

I saw the movie before, like 10 years ago but still loved the narration and the book. It was a little boring in the middle but kept me hooked till the end. I am going through rest of the Pendergast series.

Relic had me biting my fingernails

Please get this book! It's a great story that reminds me of the old Boris Karloff movies of The Mummy and it scared the heck out of me.

If you like a girl with d scary movie, pick this up. Audible and writers did a great job. Loved it!

Much better than the movie

loved. kept me going till the very end. I will continue with the series. hopefully there will be more about the FBI agent.

Good listen

Slow start, but then took off and I could not stop listening. Took me a chapter or so to get used to the reader. After that....he kept me hooked. Going to purchase more by the performer.

THE FIRST IN AN EXCELLENT SERIES!

I've read or listened to this entire series (to date--there are more coming!) so I decided to start again with RELIC, the first book in the series. It holds up as well as it did the first time I listened to it. The series has used several top notch narrators, including Dick Hill and Scott Brick, but I've come to really enjoy Rene Auberjonois, who has narrated the recent books. I like the voice he gives to Agent Pendergast, the enigmatic FBI agent in the series. This series is like no others I've encountered: each story contains a bit of the unreal, some good character development, and always, the unique Agent Pendergast demonstrating his myriad talents. I highly recommend this series.
