Great story, not dated, good narrator
Loved book when new.
Though set in mid-80’s, still not a dated story in 2018
Nice the way the author/reader rarely had to say “he said...” or “Misha commented...”
Little thing, but pay attention to it next book you listen too, unnecessary.
Minor story negative - if war started over oil needs, why didn’t any military moves head to the Middle East?

Classic war story
Loved it. Tom Clancy was an amazing author and you really feel like you're there in the 1980s watching WW3 take place. Mr. Pritchard does a terrific narration

Even though the book was written in the 1980's it still feels fresh and now more than ever a real possibility unfortunately once again. You won't be disappointed-buy it!

Still fresh after 30 years
It would be interesting to know if military and even political leaders read a book like this and learning anything about making foolish decisions. But I guess not, because egos rule.

Great Tom Clancy Action Novel
Would you listen to Red Storm Rising again? Why?
Yes, in a couple of years, it is a great action book with many scenarios coming together at once.

Yes, great plot even if it is older, it could still happen today.
