A Great Look at a Possible WW3 Scenario
This has always been one of my favorite books. Clancy has a great capacity for causing tension in the reader, and hearing this book for the first time just accentuated it. The performance was good for the most part. The speaker was good at changing voices for dialogue exchanges. I'm sure I'll revisit this recording as I have the book many times.

I was wondering?
I had a lot of trouble distinguishing between the different ships, planes, tanks etc. because the dialogue seemed the same for both sides. It was a good story though and the narrator was very good.

As good now as it was in the 80's
This was the book that revived my interest in reading back then. It's by definition. dated, but still is better than most any of the current military thrillers. If you like this genre, get this audiobook. It is well worth a credit.

My favorite Tom Clancy book
This is simply a page, turning, riveting, extremely well written book. It’s astounding how much Clancy got right. I wish they could turn this one into a movie, but inevitably, it could never live up to the book. Not even close. Excellent narrator.
