Paris in 1895: Alfred Dreyfus, a young Jewish officer, has just been convicted of treason, sentenced to life imprisonment at Devil's Island, and stripped of his rank in front of a baying crowd of 20,000. Compelling, riveting story filled with intrigue, suspense, romance and tradecraft that harks back to the best Cold War spy novels.
Ummm... this is in my library but Audible now says this title is not available in my country??? What's up with that?

Loved the story and narrator...
But I absolutely hated the stupid recipes. I’m a serious cook/chef, and I enjoyed the descriptions of the food various characters ate. But not the gratuitous intrusive recipes - without amounts of ingredients, amateurs could not recreate them, and pros wouldn’t need to. I really couldn’t figure out why a story I was enjoying kept being interrupted by the method-only recipes. Unlike reviewers who wish they had the printed book to see the recipes, I was tempted to switch to text so I could more easily SKIP them.

GREAT SPY BOOK
This is my first book from Jason Matthews but I like his book so much that I already got the second book in these series. The book keeps me entertain, not predictably. Matthews develops his characters well. Jeremy Bobb has a pleasant voice good for the novel.

Excellent story
This is probably my favorite fiction book. The story was great. The characters were interesting and the reader done a decent job (even though he mispronounced several foreign words). At the risk of sounding like a prude, be aware the book can be pretty explicit at times. Overall though a great book.
