Not too bad.

I've read the book itself more than once and love the story. The narration was a bit off; not bad, but less inflection than I personally like, either awkwardly long pauses or too brief of pauses at the wrong place, and some mispronunciatons. Overall, though, worth the money spent.

One of Tom Clancy's Greatest!

Very well paced, narrator did well. Right up there with Tom Clancy's Executive Order and Debt of Honor.

Narrator is not great.

The story is classic Tom Clancy and a great look at John Clark in a new role. The narrator is definitely not great. I don't know if he actually improved later in the book or I just got used to his style. there were some off pauses in the wrong places and a somewhat monotone voice which made it difficult to listen to at first.

great book

I saw the comments about the narrator and at first agree it was a little hard to listen to his voice but by the time it ended his voice was the story and it fit very well. of course the book is great with multiple tatical situations where you are at the edge of your seat listening. definitely would recommend the book, definitely a long read and will give you many hours of enjoyment.

Monotone Drone

If you could sum up Rainbow Six in three words, what would they be?

Long and droning.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Ok plot for reading but seems disjointed in narration. Maybe it's just the guys voice.

What didn’t you like about Michael Prichard’s performance?

Monotone. One dimensional.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

So long you'll have to hit pause three times to go pee before it ends.

Great story

Great story with a little too much back story on some of the less relevant characters. I enjoyed this book, now on to the next in the series.

Excellent side story

Any additional comments?

This is a side story in the Ryan Universe as it is about John Clarke and Domingo Chavez, two characters that appear in Clear and Present Danger (and a couple of others). It is a excellent believable story and would be great if such an organisation existed.

You will be challenged with some of the story line, truisms and violence as well as depth of the story.

Clancy created a more modern story of terrorism than I feel was known during the time of this books original writing.

It is a good action book. Most enjoyable.

Good book, needs a better narrator.

I've always loved the rainbow six games and I really liked this book, but the narrator is not very good. I think holter graham would have been a much better choice.

old but not outdated

A great book that doesn't get boring even after 740 pages, I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to Reed a military book.
