A thrilling ride in the world counter terrorism

I've been meaning to read or listen to this book for years but never took the time to do it. Now I just finished it and I'm regretting not starting this book earlier. Tom Clancy really hits the ball out of the park on this one.
If you like stories about counter terrorism, espionage, or precies details in weapon details and tactical maneuvers, this is a book for you. Everything about the book was great and Tom Clancy does a good job of keeping you engaged. Even in the slower parts and details of the book, he still keeps you wanting to know more.
With everything great about the book, the ending wasn't what I expected. Tom Clancy took a different route in ending the story than the typical approach of prosecuting the criminals. Other than that, this is a great, great, great book.

Loved every minute of the book

Classic! I already want to listen to it again. This is my 2nd favorite TC book.

Great reading of a great story

One of my all time favorite books that I can listen to time and time again

A good story overall

First, the performance was very good. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The story was read clearly and clearly distinguish between characters making it easy to follow.

The story is typical Tom Clancy. Perhaps a bit more contrived than some of his other works, but still an engaging listen. Aside from Clancy‘s niggardly use of synonyms for the word “stingy“, I enjoyed listening to this story.

Well written and fleshed out characters and story

I loved this book as my first Tom Clancy or even military type of fiction and it did not disappoint me at all in fact it scared me inspired me and gave me anxiety for all the characters in these operations and made me care for the characters and their families and makes the bad guys have pretty good motives which is great for me.

Just finished rainbow 6 it is great ! It’s LONG TOO I had the time or I made it . Myself I like to listen and enjoy NOT Be Akon to finish .

Okay book great speaker

It was okay the speaker carried hard his performance was top notch. I would recommend to a friend.

A book that inspired the video game series

This is his first book Clancy wrote that does not have Jack Ryan even mentioned by name. if you fallow the series you know who he is, but if you don't and just want to start here, well there is a few hints that lets the rest of us know.

Knowing how scary but effective Clark and Chavez are then a whole book dedicated to this amazing team would make things even better.

Clark puts together a team of some of the greatest military units. they are training for two teams of counter terrorism. the cold war is over and there are not many terrorists active anymore but its always better to be safe then sorry.

A former KGB agent is hired to go to his old contacts and stir things up, unknown to him there is a new anti terrorist unit in town.

Some of the things that are different in this Clancy novel compared to most of his others is that its more even a read all the way through and not a snowball effect.

If you never have read a Clancy novel before this is a great one to start with, it has the excitement and adventure and is a great bait to the lure.

Perfect escape listening

Though out of the Jack Ryan story directly, this book is an important piece of the overall.

I enjoyed this one very much. The way it was narrated was great. The story line was good and kept my interest. I would highly recommend this book.
