Great reading of a great story

One of my all time favorite books that I can listen to time and time again

A good story overall

First, the performance was very good. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The story was read clearly and clearly distinguish between characters making it easy to follow.

The story is typical Tom Clancy. Perhaps a bit more contrived than some of his other works, but still an engaging listen. Aside from Clancy‘s niggardly use of synonyms for the word “stingy“, I enjoyed listening to this story.

Well written and fleshed out characters and story

I loved this book as my first Tom Clancy or even military type of fiction and it did not disappoint me at all in fact it scared me inspired me and gave me anxiety for all the characters in these operations and made me care for the characters and their families and makes the bad guys have pretty good motives which is great for me.

Just finished rainbow 6 it is great ! It’s LONG TOO I had the time or I made it . Myself I like to listen and enjoy NOT Be Akon to finish .

Okay book great speaker

It was okay the speaker carried hard his performance was top notch. I would recommend to a friend.

Loved the story! It started slow but got real exciting

The only thing that was bad was the audio quality in the first couple of chapters. It was very low in volume and highly compressed. After the first couple of chapters it cleared up and was fine. Still low in volume but clarity was great.

One of Clancy's best

The story contained multiple parts of peak action that demonstrated the operational methods of special forces. The characters were well developed and believeable. I plan to read more Clancy books.

The technical detail in the procedures, weapons, psychology and overall realism.

PERFECT for narrating. LAZY for voices. again PERFECT for narrating. his voice always fit how i was feeling when he wasnt reading for someone voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It all just felt real to me because of the way it was written. So i felt waht i was suppose to feel. My most extreme external reactions were holding my breath during tense moments or a jaw drop and a head shake as big events happened.

Any additional comments?

I really appreciate the more emotional/human/family element being integrated so smoothly into the story without muddying it up or feeling forced. It felt real and not obligatory like alot of material that tries to "humanize" or make the characters relate-able.

Good story. not Clancy ' best but still gpod

This is the first of Clancy 's books that doesn't contain nearly as much detailed description and technical information as the previous works. The story is still good, but Clancy doesn't paint nearly as informative 8 picture as in previous works. Still much better than many other authors of the same genre.
