Absolutely awesome, highly recommended! Vince Flynn was awesome! This book and series is worth reading/listening to all over again!

Ominous

The plot scenario could be played out right on the front page of our daily newspapers.
This pulled me in deeper than I would normally have gone, to the story.
I find myself listening and reading more about the Iranian situation after listening to this ominous story. Having a son on active duty in the military makes it more so.

Not as much substance and excitement

Good but not as many twists and turns as in previous books. ended too soon. Disappointed.

Mitch Rapp is better than 007

Ever the gentleman, 007 had the panache to deal with the public and especially the ladies....On the other hand there's Mitch Rapp. American assasin, sharp shooter, close quarter combat expert, fluent in several languages and FEARED by the deadliest people in most pther countries. No bedside manner, no rules, no BS, just gets the job done and sometimes gets permission!

Vince does it again

The hits keep on coming. Loved it and all of the books so far in the series. Now on to book 11!

Fun to listen to one of the old Vince Flynn books.

Nothing against Kyle Mills, but the Vince Flynn books have a different feel and flow.

Place names

I hate to be picky but this again has evidence of someone not doing their research. The county in Maryland Anne Arundel has the accent on the second syllable: Anne A-RUN-del County. (And earlier book bungled the name of the seaport in Japan - Yokosuka. Pronounced Yo-KUS-ka.) As always, however very enjoyable and well done reading.

Spoiler warning !!!

The late Flynn hit another home run with this one.
I was hoping to “have my cake and eat it too”
with a saved Dr. Kennedy and several hundred thousand dead bad guys but the ending didn’t disappoint me.

What is an AK74?

Would you listen to Protect and Defend again? Why?

This is my 7th Mitch Rapp book. I love the stories. I get a bit distracted by the continual mention of an AK74. Isn't it an AK47?

Keeps your attention

This was my first Vince Flynn book, but certainly will not be my last. I found myself sittng in the parking lot or driveway just to finish a chapter.
The narrator did a great job with voices and emotion.
