Ok

Not up to the standard of the first 2 Private books. Disappointed. Wish it stuck with the original characters more.

Not exactly one of those wow books. But interesting enough elements to it to keep me reading. Hoping the next book end of the series is an improvement.

Good book, bad recording

Narrator was very good but the sound mix was bad, lots of whispering then loud narrative.
good story dragged on at times.

Great Series!

Loved this series (3). This book was a little hard to listen to at first because the narrator's accent is British. But, once I got into the story, I didn't notice. Very entertaining. Hope there is a 4th in the series coming out soon. If you like James Patterson's detective novels, you will love this series.

Another good Private story

It had some really very good plot twists and the performance was very well done.

A real Page turner

This was a little of a twist on the Private series, but a good story, that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I am only sorry that we won't continue to hear about Inspector Knight, a character I grew to love.

narrator did an excellent job, love his voice. story kept me on the edge of my seat.

Another Suspense I Couldn't Put Down

The beginning was a little weird and hard to dig into, but I'm really glad that I did. I wanted Jack Morgan to be more involved, but quickly fell in love with the detective featured. The villain was a mystery until very near the end. I'm ready for the next Private adventure.

Teriffic! Filled with twists and turns. Developed characters. Keeps you guessing until the end with a final satisfying twist!

Different but really great

I not only would I did re-play it several times. I truly enjoyed it.

What does Paul Panting bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I saw that there was criticism of a British accent. What would you expect for a London story. If you are at all familiar with reviewing British movies or TV then the accent would not be a problem

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was excited and it kept me involved.

This was different Patterson and I am not sure having co-writers causes you to read or not read but I am finding that the stories that include other writers are different but so far I am enjoying them
