meh.

I was hoping it was going to be a plot twisting surprise but the book didn't gain any momentum for me, and all sudden they introduced a whole secondary plot that had nothing to do with the original plot. So the best I can say is I'm glad this book was only $3.95 because I would be real disappointed if I paid $20 for it.

this first book in the series got the series off to a great start. I look forward to the next book.

Good book, needs another narrator

Too much going on for just one narrator. A second to keep stories separate would help

Would you consider the audio edition of Private to be better than the print version?

Good start to a series. Thanks Audible for the 1st in series sale.
This had an easy listening pace with a dab of mafioso, hollywood, and evil young men for a change of pace.

What other book might you compare Private to and why?

Maybe the stories about the "The Black Dahlia".
Evil twin helps expend this series. Plenty to work with for future books.

What about Peter Hermann’s performance did you like?

I thought he did a very good job! Lots of characters and you had a nice voice change for each.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

yes when the young girl fights back with good old fashion street fighting. However, evil guy "brings a gun to a knife fight". For shame!!

This was seriously one of the best books I've ever listened to! Fast pacing and GREAT narrator! Bring back this character.

Captivating

Not a big fan of fiction but, I really did enjoy this. There was a lot going on that kept you interested in the multi story lines. In the end I truly couldn't wait to see how everything played out and was very surprised by a few outcomes.

I have listened to or read many of James Patterson's books. I have seen some movies. this book to me is the best of all I have experienced!
