college age more believable

the narrator was good. story line, kids were too young to even listen to book.

Fun story

Great story but narrator who was good with characterization had one glaring flaw. For dramatic effect, he repeatedly dropped his voice level for poignancy only to be so low I couldn't hear him. This is an audiobook, Mister, speak up! Your facial expressions don't mean diddly over my speakers.

Good, but cliche

Entertaining, good story, but too Dick Tracy like. Wraps everything up into a tidy ending without many surprises.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat

loved this book. Great storytelling, vivid characters, and a very good reader! makes me want to read more by the author as well as the narrator!

I’m not a fan of this genre. But I was compelled

I’m not a fan of this genre. But I was compelled to finish the book. It’s very male perspective and in ways sexist (but isn’t that part of the point of the genre?) the author did try to make it more balanced which is how it was tolerable to me but the story is okay and the presenter does a good job with voices. Enough to compel me to finish the book because I did want to know how it ended. You may love it. Just not my cup of tea. AUDIBLE 20 REVIEW SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY

Engrossing

Great story, hard to "put down". Great performance too, appreciated the different voices and accents.

Typical style of a Patterson book. I am guessing this book was predominantly written by Maxine Paetro, and the publisher used Patterson's name to sell the book. This is very typical. However, it is a simple read. The narrator did an awesome job.
