    "Good but not great"
Would you listen to Private: #1 Suspect again? Why?

Perhaps, but I generally do not re-listen to books.

What did you like best about this story?

The story had numerous twists and turns which kept the readers interest. The plots were predictable, however.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Busting the van filled with drugs out of the warehouse.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions. I enjoyed the book but it wasn't a life changer.

    Any additional comments?

I like James Patterson's writing but this wasn't his best. Not bad, but not his best.

    "First Patterson & Not Disappointed...Much"
If you could sum up Private: #1 Suspect in three words, what would they be?

    Enjoyed the ride

What other book might you compare Private: #1 Suspect to and why?

None, didn't normally listen to Patterson or the like.

Have you listened to any of Scott Shepherd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. His performance was spot on. He brought the story alive for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to but I finished over 2 days

    Any additional comments?

The music came at weird times & wasn't necessary - it added nothing to the story. I found myself rolling my eyes quite a few times because of how arrogant the main character is. Got kinda tired of listening to how great, good looking & rich he is. It got old fast.

    "Another great storyline"

Another great book by James Patterson. The narrator is perfect and the whole audio book kept you wanting more. Ready for the next one.

"My favorite Private read so far. I read this one in 2 sittings!"

This book, although I read it in just 2 sittings, was able to keep me interested and keep me guessing. I like when a book is able to do both! I also liked the narration. I didn't find it cheesy!

    "Changing the Narrator"

Good book. Simple story but poor narration. Book 1 in the series has better narration.

    "painful"

I don't believe that James Patterson wrote this book. I gave it 2 stars because I listened until the murderer was identified. The narration was rough but I've listened to worse. if you must continue in the series I suggest you take the book out from a library.

    "Consistent characters in the presentation"

Second in the series and the primary characters recur. Multiple storylines that interweave but like the first book, there is a lot of running around before a rapid and not completely satisfying denouement. Again, a bit too whiny for my taste but a good story. Will consider another book in the series probably. This reader was not as compelling as the reader of the first book.
