Perhaps, but I generally do not re-listen to books.
The story had numerous twists and turns which kept the readers interest. The plots were predictable, however.
Busting the van filled with drugs out of the warehouse.
No extreme reactions. I enjoyed the book but it wasn't a life changer.
I like James Patterson's writing but this wasn't his best. Not bad, but not his best.
I don't believe that James Patterson wrote this book. I gave it 2 stars because I listened until the murderer was identified. The narration was rough but I've listened to worse. if you must continue in the series I suggest you take the book out from a library.
Enjoys espionage, mystery, police procedurals, science, biographies.
Second in the series and the primary characters recur. Multiple storylines that interweave but like the first book, there is a lot of running around before a rapid and not completely satisfying denouement. Again, a bit too whiny for my taste but a good story. Will consider another book in the series probably. This reader was not as compelling as the reader of the first book.
You get hook on the first book and familiar with the characters and you start understanding how they work together. That's the fun part but it's also part that leads you to know how the plot is going to be resolved. These stories are prefect for driving down the road talking on the phone and going back and forth to the story.
I like Jack. Like many books that are a series, you get hooked on the main character and can't wait for the next release. The book held my interest and had enough going on to keep me awake while driving. The multiple stories within the story are well engineered and magically, all is resolved at the end.
No, I will continue to read these as long as Patterson keeps writing them. It is hard to find good heros that are just a little damaged.
Clear, timely, in context
I am a long haul owner operator truck driver, listening to audio books has been a salvation for me.
very good second book!! keeps you coming back! I'm getting book 3 now :) the narrator is great, and James Patterson doesn't disappoint, characters are interesting, and I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what was gonna happen. I am looking forward to book 3
I have to admit that at first it took me awhile to get into the story because there were three different lines of thought happening at once and it seems as though they all got solved in the final 20 minutes of the book
