Kathleen Turner wasn’t expecting to fall in love when she came to Indianapolis a year ago, much less with two very different men. And not just any men: Brothers.
Blane Kirk, former SEAL turned attorney, is every woman’s dream man. He’s also a playboy who changes women as often as he changes his tie, and trying to hold on to Blane could only break Kathleen’s heart.
Commitment is a foreign word to Kade Dennon, assassin-for-hire and genius hacker, and nothing about him is safe. A future with Kade would surely end in disaster - for both of them.
Past betrayals come to a head, and the choice Kathleen makes could sign her death warrant. Everything’s at stake as Blane, Kade, and Kathleen reach the Point of No Return.

I've enjoyed this series. I'm happy with the way things ended, especially for 2 reasons 1 - the love triangle was resolved 2 - the author didn't keep us on pins and needles for 20 odd books with no resolution of the love triangle. Tiffany Snow gave us 5 books and didn't make us wait until the end of book 5 to find out who "got the girl". For that I'm very grateful.
I really liked this series at first but the last 2 books were more romance than anything thing, and how many times can the same people be involved with a death happening and the police aren't suspicious.
Really LOVED this series. Kept my interest and had me smiling throughout all five books. Looking forward to reading the additional books written from the guys' perspectives.
I'm a big fan of Whispersync! My favorite genre is fantasy, YA and adult, but I'll occasionally listen to/read NA romance or space opera.
Overall these books are good. They're hilariously funny, they play your heart strings like a harp and even though the drama-rama makes you want to roll your eyes until 'they're stuck like that,' it's just so much fun.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
Yes, I would listen to this story again. This is a series, make no mistake, as they really don't stand alone like so many mysteries.
I love the reader Angela Dawe and found this series and purchased them all. I made the mistake of reading them out of order as I love the Kade character in book 4. Each story builds on the last one so DON'T read this one first, it will come off like an outline to you. Author's scarcastic dialogue is catchy and warms your heart. I really feel this series is a romance/mystery. More of character development in some books and more mystery/adventure in others.
If you are a fan of Angela Dawe, see her in Nora Roberts series, the MacGregors as she is a delight. Her male voices are just as sexy as an author wants then to be. A.D. made our hero Kade so so sexy, yum!
This story was the best one, but if you start with this one, it will not make sense.
"when Kade jumps overboard"," when Kat stands up for herself with a right hook", when Blane walks the colic baby Cane. This one had lots of various scenes the author just could not give up and it was GREAT that the editor let her.
Best of Brothers
You may have to get use to reader female voice at first, but her males voices are the highlight.
I love a happy ending. The Narrator did a good job on all of the books. I'm glad it was the same one throughout. This series was so full of drama that I needed this ending to be good and long, and it was. I could of gone without the whole hospital scene near the end. It was too long and I didn't really need the details. It didn't add anything to the story for me. I am so glad that she finally made a choice and it was the one I wanted!
I enjoy reading series and very rarely read stand alone series. I mostly read romance and sci-fi & fantasy.
This is the last book in the Kathleen Turner series. It is full of the same action that the other books had. Kathleen is in trouble and Blaine and Kade are willing to do whatever it takes to help her.
The one good thing is that you find out what brother she chooses. And you find out fairly quickly which one that is. It is not the one I would have chosen but, it is all good in the end mostly.
I am really surprised that Kathleen hasn't had any lasting injuries from all the times that she has been hit in the head. You would think that either Blaine or Kade would have taught her some self-defense or something. But she manages to get out of most of the problems she finds herself.
This was a good ending to the series and almost all of the loose ends are tied up nicely. I would like to know what happens to the brother that Kathleen doesn't choose and how he fairs but, that is for another series? This is a fun and exciting series that will have you laughing and crying and wishing that you were Kathleen all at the same time. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a series like this one.
Narrator has a weird way of ending each sentence but I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of these books!!
Great sex scenes and good plots
I drive a lot and would have preferred reading them but got hooked and couldn't wait so had to listen! LOL
