plot twist

As much as I enjoyed the plot I almost quit listening. If the main charector has been a bad guy murder I suppose I would have liked him better. He was such a dis likable guy it took the enjoyment out of a otherwise good book.

What made the experience of listening to Plum Island the most enjoyable?

The book takes you so many different directions about the time you think you had each mystery solved the story went a completely different way.

Never been disappointed in a Nelson DeMille story . I enjoyed listening to this as well .

1st in a series. Very entertaining characters.

I loved the characters in this story. The climatic scene was extremely disturbing, but not characteristic of the rest of the story. The narrator did a superb job that helped the almost 20 hrs of listening time fly by.

A great first “chapter”

We had so much fun listening to this book. The story was great and the narrator gave everyone an attitude that was very appropriate for his or her character. Thoroughly enjoyable! Getting ready to dive in to the next book.

Excellent Adventure

it was an excellent adventure out on the islands lot of history lot of fun about Pirates Treasures some good looking women lot of good humor. I'm sorry it's over I hope I can find more of the same

Very easy and enjoyable listen

It's a well crafted story that does not have the obvious ending until you get to, well, the end! The characters are well developed, believable, and imperfect. It is not overly gruesome or profane so those who do not like frequent swearing or graphic violence can be assured they will like this entertaining, suspenseful story

Would you listen to Plum Island again? Why?

I don't think I would listen to it again because a book has to be exceptional to want to come back to. It was a good story and a good listen, but this is not a sufficient reason to want a repeat.

Other Nelson DeMille books. Probably Michael Connelly books compare similarly.

Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?

Scott Brick narrates the story of John Corey in the first person, so it would have to be him. However, I also liked Emma Whitestone.

Was just enjoyable to listen to and entertaining. But not an extreme reaction

I thought Scott Brick did a superb job with the narration. It has made my drives to and from work very entertaining over the last 3 weeks. This was my first Audible.com book I have listened to clear to the end, and it has made me want to listen to more books.
