I guess this is his first book and I am very excited to hear others if this is how he started out. I thought I would guess the ending like I usually do but there was always another twist. This one is a must.

A Good Early Days Book
Good book but did struggle to finish it! Harlen Cohen's is indeed a good story teller and this was a good story. I didn't appreciate the sex that seemed to have been put in because the author thought it would sell, a young author's attempt to people please. I read every Harlen Coben book and appreciate each one to date. True to HC's style it was hard to decipher till the end who the killer was, the plot was intricate but took forever to unravel itself. HC has come a good way since. Good narrator - enjoyed the Australian accent, but did not like the Women's voices, sounded like some sleazy guy mimicking a woman, the romantic and sensual tones were sad funny.

Yes, he has written some fairly good books.
Which character – as performed by Scott Brick – was your favorite?
No one in particular. I always see Scott brick as a tremendous asset to sell ANY audiobook.
Was Play Dead worth the listening time?
Probably not, but I listen to audiobooks purely for recreation, so that time is not too valuable.
Any additional comments?
End of story was apparent almost from the first hour or so, as I have cobean to have a serious fault with.
