This book is about young man Frankie. He is led to the criminal underworld. Interesting plot. Book had a little bit of adventure, mystery, criminal, intrigue. The book is quiet long, 5 hrs and 53 mins so you need few days to it. Roberto Scarlato did a good job. Liked his narration. Pleasant voice, tone and tempo.
I would recommend it to people looking for leisure time book.

entertaining

I enjoyed this mystery. I guessed the ending correctly early on, but it didn't lessen my enjoyment of the adventure. Frankie was quite the likable character and I liked seeing him grow up and deal with life in his own unique ways. I think they would have made an unstoppable duo in later years. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Pickpocket Frankie was a fun read. It had a little bit of everything in it, humor, adventure, mystery, and yes even a little romance. This in my opinion was an enjoyable quick summer read, and it's a story I would definitely listen to again.Oh, and Roberto Scarlato did a great job narrating.

Frankie really puts stuff into your pocket here!

Pickpocket Frankie is just a delight. The book, in spite of being based on a tragedy that happens to Frankie, is light-hearted and humorous. Frankie is a likable guy, too. You feel for him, and he isn't a callous criminal.

Scarlato pulls double duty, as both author and narrator. His writing is tip top, and narration is spot on, making me wonder why he isn't narrating more. I guess all that writing gets in the way. Regardless, You really feel like Scarlato is Frankie. I don't think there is a genre Scarlato can't write as he seems to cover different genres with ease from I have seen.

Listening to Frankie's plight is enjoyable; you will snicker, belly laugh, and even guffaw once or twice. Scarlato has comedic timing down to a science. I would really like to see this as a movie, it would be unstoppable.

I LOVED this book!Frankie has had to fend for himself since he was a kid.The easiest way has been to pick pockets.When his apartment is broken into, he finds that his life is not exactly as it has seemed.A good story and narration by Roberto Scarlato.I was provided this book free by the author/narrator or publisher for an honest review.

Had me guessing from the start!

I loved this book! It was full of twists and full of mystery, intrigue, and drama! Roberto Scarlato did an amazing job making you really see through Frankies eyes! You cant help but want to hear the whole story!

Intriguing!!

This book was very interesting. I must admit I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.
Roberto has a way of telling a story both as an author and a narrator that just has you drawn in from the beginning.
This story takes you on a journey of a young boy as learns to overcome and adjust to overwhelming obstacles through adulthood. Many unexpected turns along the way.
Narration was absolutely amazing.

Robert Scarlato you obviously have talent, but

for some reason you chose to ruin this book with outlandish story directions. You don't deserve this negative review since this was a free review copy, thanks, sort of.
It just hit me the wrong way when the father finally enters the picture. I love sci-fi, but a dad that leaves a kid to raise himself at 10 years old doesn't deserve a place in this story. Sorry for dumping on your book, I think it takes a ton of character just to put something out there. Good for you for trying.
