Great book, a classic
This is an awesome rendition of a classic book. The narrator does a great job capturing the emotion and the gravity of the story. This book is thrilling from beginning to end. Clancy does an amazing job of crafting deep characters, even ancillary characters feel well constructed.

New Fans of Jack Ryan... Start Here!
This is an exceptional book read by a narrator who hit all the highs, It's a great starter for anyone hooked by the new Jack Ryan series with John Krasinski.
I just finished it and will be hitting all the Jack Ryan books in chrono order. Then I'll probably do it a second time.
Perfect, flawless, and an easy listen.

The movie was great but this was better
Tom Clancy was one one of the great story tellers whose life & writing career spanned 2 centuries.
He brought realism & life to his characters. The reading of this work by Scott Brick was very professional and masterfully done.

Intense and exciting
What a rollercoaster of a book. I wanted to jump through the pages and kill the bad guys. I kept telling at Jack "Don't let your guard down!!"

Must speed up the narrator
1.2x speed was OK. Other wise too slow to listen.
Too many similar names to follow and ofter it was hard to understand who is talking to whom.
